Sunday morning, you wake up with that sweet smell in your nose. You walk into the kitchen and your mother tells you that breakfast will be done in a few minutes and you already see a plate full of french toast. As you sit down a plate of crispy bacon and a bottle of mapel syrup is placed next to you. Don´t you think this sounds like a perfect start in the morning.
Useful ingredient information:
Brioche or Toast
Brioche is originally from France and is a very fluffy white bread its lightness is perfect for french toast as it will absorb the fluid
If you want to use simple toast I recommend using sandwich toast they are larger and also airier.

Ingredients: (8 Toast)
3 eggs
1/4 cup of cream
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla sugar or extract
8 slices of toast or brioche
butter for frying
maple syrup to serve with
Let's start cooking:
First, place all slices of toast out of the bag so that they lose a bit of moister
Add eggs, cream, milk and whisk well until everything is fully incorporated
Now whisk in the seasonings
Preheat the oven on the lowest setting just to hold your french toast warm in between
You want to soak the toast in the batter for about 10 seconds, no longer or they will start falling apart
Fry them on high heat in a buttered pan until golden brown
Serve with maple syrup on the side
Enjoy!
